Cross Country Records and Stats
Since their inaugural season in 1996, the Paradise Valley Community College men's and women's cross country teams have built a powerhouse legacy on the national stage. The Pumas have captured nine NJCAA National Championships (5 women’s, 4 men’s), finished runner-up seven times, and placed in the top four an incredible 27 times. Individually, PVCC has produced five National Champions and 67 All-Americans, showcasing the program’s ability to develop elite talent year after year. Guiding it all is legendary head coach David Barney, an eight-time NJCAA Coach of the Year, whose leadership and vision have made PVCC one of the most respected and successful programs in junior college cross country.
