
Seven Pumas have garnered Baseball All-Region & All-ACCAC honors for their play this season.
Three student-athletes were named to the Division II All-ACCAC/Region I First Team.
Erick Deessens (SO), Samuel Round (R-FR), Alex Sanchez (SO)
Erick Dessens- Outfield
Batted .371 with 35 RBI, 57 runs and 12 doubles. Posted a .963 fielding percentage.
Samuel Round – Starting Pitcher
7-2 with 3.41 ERA, 83 strikeouts
Alex Sanchez - Infield
Batted .327 with 39 RBI, 53 runs and five home runs. Posted a .957 fielding percentage with 15 double plays.

Owen Harper – Starting Pitcher
6-1 with 3.34 ERA, 64 strikeouts
Kaleb Williams – Relief Pitcher
1-0 with 1.57 ERA, 36 strikeouts in 34.1 innings pitched
Logan Yule - Outfield
Batted .318 with 54 RBI, five triples, five home runs and a .520 slugging percentage. Posted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage with zero errors.
Assistant Coach Jim Murphy was named Division II All-ACCAC/Region I Assistant Coach of the Year.
In addition to these conference and region honors, two Pumas were nominated for the Rawlings Gold Glove Award. Both Sanchez and Yule were nominated, along with seven other student-athletes from the ACCAC.
The first round of NJCAA Region 1 playoffs begin on Thursday, May 1. #3 PV will face off against #2 Pima Community College. The three-game set will be hosted by Pima. Game times are scheduled for 2pm/2pm/12pm. The games will be streamed live here.
