Last Thursday and Friday, PVCC Tennis hosted the 17th Annual High School Doubles Tournament. The tournament drew teams from nine different high schools across Arizona; Shadow Mountain, Sandra Day O'Connor, Saguaro, Liberty, Higley, Horizon, Shadow Ridge, Sahuarita, and Desert Edge.
The boys played on Thursday, April 7 with the Eagles from Sandra Day O'Connor defeating the Sahuarita Mustangs in the finals
The girls showed up to play on Friday April 8 and the Liberty Lions defeated the Horizon Huskies for the championship. The Lions did not lose a match the entire tournament.
