PUMAS TIE CHANDLER-GILBERT LATE IN THE GAME
The Puma Women's Soccer team played an ACCAC game against Chandler-Gilbert Community College on Tuesday, October 12th to a 1-1 draw.  In the first half, Chandler-Gilbert got on the scoreboard first when a Coyotes forward collected a free ball on top of the box and pushed it past Emily Richards.  In the second half, the Pumas put the pressure on the Coyotes, holding a 7-4 shot advantage.  Justyne Underwood scored the equalizer in the 77th minute when she beat the Coyotes goalie from 25 yards out. The Pumas controlled most of the play in both overtimes holding a 5-1 shot advantage but they could not find that back of the net.

The Pumas next face Pima Community College at home on Saturday, October 16 at 12pm. Prior to the kickoff, Coach DeVries will be honoring the Puma Sophomores for their contributions to Puma Soccer.
