TAYLOR CROWDER COMPETES AT THE NJCAA SOUTHWEST DISTRICT TOURNAMENT

Taylor Crowder played in the NJCAA Women's Golf Southwest District Tournament hosted by NJCAA Region 1 last week at Hillcrest Country Club in Sun City, AZ.  The three-day tournament saw the top teams and individual golfers in the district compete over the 54-hole event.

Crowder qualified to compete as an individual representing PVCC.  Her rounds were consistent with finishes of 83-84-83, giving her 37th place. Crowder stated, "I felt very happy with my performance, I am very proud of myself for making it that far and wouldn't change my experience for the world."

When asked about her plans after the season, Crowder stated, "My plan over the summer is to continue to play as much golf as possible. I don't think I have any tournaments planned but I will be playing a lot of golf in other states."

Coach Palmer was very happy about Crowder's season and final rounds at the district tournament. He looks forward to next year for the Puma women's golf team.
