Puma Women’s Golf hosted the last tournament of the regular season April 26 & 27 at their home course, Wildfire Golf Club.
The Pumas finished second in the tournament, 379-373--752. Mesa CC took first place in the PVCC Invitational posting 318-353--671.
The Pumas have posted strong second place finishes throughout the 2021 season. They have competed in seven tournaments this season, all hosted by fellow ACCAC colleges (Mesa, 2/15-16; South Mountain, 2/27-28; Mesa, 3/11-12; Pima, 3/29-30; Estrella Mountain, 4/2-3; Chandler Gilbert, 4/17-18)
For the first time in several seasons the Pumas have qualified for the NJCAA National Championship Tournament. This year’s four-day tournament will be held May 10-13 at Plantation Bay Golf & Country Club in Ormond, FL.
