Softball

Tony Britton enters his second season with the Pumas as an Assistant Coach. Britton has been in the Phoenix area since 1984 after moving from Northwest Indiana. He graduated from Washington High School in 1988 where he had the chance to play football and baseball for Coach Candrea. Britton went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Arizona State University and continued his education at Northern Arizona University where he earned his M. Ed in Counseling. After working as a Juvenile Probation Officer, Britton changed roles and has been working as a high school counselor and behavior specialist for the past two decades.

 

Britton has coached high school athletics for more than 25 years including baseball, football, and softball. He has coached softball at all three high school levels and club teams. He brings dedication, experience, passion, and knowledge to the Puma coaching staff.
