The Puma Soccer team knocked off two ACCAC opponents last week in closely contested contests.  In the rematch with Glendale, the Pumas found themselves down by two goals early in the game.  Enrique Arellano scores the first of two goals closing the gap to 2-1 at the half.  The second half was more productive for PVCC as they outshot Glendale.  Preston Romeiro caught the Gaucho goalkeeper off guard on a free-kick from the top of the box to tie the game at 2-2.  With 3 minutes left in regulation, Luis Angulo and Angel Flores put together a combination for passes that put Enrique Arellano 1v1 with the goalkeeper for the game-winner.

In the rematch with Mesa, the Puma avenged the loss from earlier in the season beating the Thunderbirds 1-0.  After an evenly matched first half that saw both teams take 6 shots, the Pumas took control in the second half out shooting Mesa 12-2.  Jalen Pasillas netted the game-winner in the 71st minute.

The Pumas are currently sitting in second place in the ACCAC behind Pima and Arizona Western, who are both undefeated.
