PUMAS SHUT OUT ARTICHOKES
 
The Pumas picked up their first win on the road at Scottsdale Community College by a score of 2-0 on Thursday night. 
 
Freshman Kelvin Guerrero scored his first collegiate goal on an assist from Robert Ellingson in the 7th minute. 
 
After the water break, Krisitan Bielicki was fouled in the box resulting in a penalty kick.  Laundry Mayungu converted the PK to make the score 2-0 at the half. 
 
PVCC continued to pressure SCC's backline in the 2nd half, finishing the game with 17 shots and nine on goal. It was a total team effort, with 12 different student-athltes having opportunities to score.  Luis Villegas secured a clean sheet and the win stopping all six shots on goal from the Artichokes. 
 
PVCC returns to action on Saturday, April 17 for a home game against Yavapai.  Kickoff is slated for 11:00am.
