CROWDER SHOOTS 79 IN FINAL ROUND

CROWDER SHOOTS 79 IN FINAL ROUND
The historic fall season for the Puma women's team finished with Taylor Crowder shooting an impressive 79 on the final day.  The first round was delayed due to time, so the last groups had to finish the next day early in the morning.

Taylor finished her final holes and shot a 93 on the first round.  In her second round, Taylor bounced back with her personal best tournament round shooting a 79 (+7).

Coach James Palmer stated, "It was great to see Taylor shoot her first tournament round in the 70s, which is where she should be all the time.  Based on her strong ball striking and putting, Taylor should be shooting mid to low 70s. College golf is not easy but her confidence is showing and that's really where she will make lots of gains. I am looking forward to how much she progresses in the off season to get geared up for the spring.  I think we will see some really good scores."

The Pumas will begin their spring season in February.
