Corey Leintz joined Puma Athletics as the assistant men’s and women’s golf coach during the 2024–25 season and was promoted to head coach for both programs in June 2025. Originally from Leavenworth, Kansas, Leintz was a four-sport athlete in his youth and is a graduate of Kansas State University.

Leintz developed his coaching foundation under the mentorship of Encanto Golf Course’s Head Professional Mike Swartz and longtime Puma head coach Kurt Brown. Their guidance provided him with a deep understanding of success at all levels of the game. In 2024, he became an associate with the PGA Southwest Section and worked alongside Brown at Paradise Valley, where he cultivated a passion for developing student-athletes both on and off the course.

Leintz is dedicated to fostering growth in his players, emphasizing individual development and team success. Outside of coaching, he enjoys spending time with his family and traveling with friends to renowned golf destinations.
